New Cycle Lanes on 53rd Avenue in Langley City

The City of Langley has installed painted bike lanes along 53rd Avenue from 203rd to 208th. This included widening the lanes across the bridge near 206th Street which if you've ridden across there in the past was casino spiele kostenlos und ohne anmeldung spielen.

To achieve the bike lanes (and a buffer area for most of the segment) the road was reduced from two lanes in each direction to a single vehicle lane in each direction. Removing a lane of traffic is a bold move - it's nice to see this foresight being exhibited in the City.

Our Infrastructure Tour has been postponed

Unfortunately, we had to postpone our Cycling Infrastructure Tour due to a very low response from Township and City councils. We'll be rescheduling the tours for the Spring or early Summer in 2018.

Thanks to everyone on the HUB Langley Committee who helped organize the tour, the Engineering Department at the City of Surrey, and our guest speakers, and to the companies who offered their support -- Coast Mountain Bus, Starbucks, Tim Horton's and Nestor's Market.

We're confident that with a fresh approach that we'll have a successful tour in the new year.
